Veteran comedian and actor Chris Rock has sparked fresh interest in his personal life after making a rare public appearance with his new girlfriend, Simone Henault, during the 2026 Wimbledon Championships in London.

The pair appeared relaxed and affectionate as they watched the tennis action from the stands on July 2, marking one of their most high-profile appearances together since romance rumors first surfaced earlier this year.

Their appearance comes just months after they were photographed holding hands and sharing a kiss during a stroll through New York City’s SoHo neighborhood, effectively confirming their relationship.

Rock, 61, who has largely kept his private life out of the spotlight since his divorce from ex-wife Malaak Compton-Rock in 2016, appeared in high spirits throughout the event.

Henault, meanwhile, drew attention with her understated yet stylish look, sporting a blue pinstripe shirt, sunglasses and her signature braided hairstyle.

Who is Simone Henault?

Although she has only recently entered the celebrity spotlight through her relationship with Rock, Simone Henault has spent more than a decade building an impressive career at the intersection of music, technology, fashion and brand strategy.

Originally from New Orleans and now based in Los Angeles, Henault graduated from St. Edward’s University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Advertising and Applied Communication. Her education laid the foundation for a career focused on creative storytelling and cultural marketing.

A Career Rooted in Creativity

Henault first established herself in the music and entertainment industries through production and artist management roles before moving into creative strategy.

Her early career included positions with companies such as 19th & Park Inc., Cornerstone Agency and music publication

The FADER, where she developed campaigns connecting artists, brands and audiences. These experiences helped her earn a reputation as a creative producer with a keen understanding of culture and digital engagement.

Five Years at Google

One of the defining chapters of Henault’s professional journey came at Google.

From 2021 to 2025, she worked as a creative producer on the Waze marketing team, overseeing campaigns designed to connect the navigation platform with diverse communities and consumer audiences.

Her work blended technology, storytelling and cultural marketing, helping create experiences that resonated with users while strengthening brand identity.

DJ and Cultural Strategist

Outside the corporate world, Henault has built a respected profile as a DJ and music curator.

She has performed at high-profile venues including Soho House and Shoreditch House and is known for curating playlists under her “Monafide Soul Series” brand, showcasing soul, R&B and global music influences.

Earlier this year, she announced that she was embarking on a new entrepreneurial chapter, focusing on connecting brands, artists and communities through culture, music, fashion, wellness and live experiences.

Beyond music, Henault also writes about travel, creativity and personal experiences through her online newsletter and social media platforms, where she documents international trips and creative collaborations.

A New Chapter for Chris Rock

Rock has remained one of America’s most celebrated comedians, with a career spanning more than four decades.

The Emmy and Grammy Award winner was previously married to philanthropist Malaak Compton-Rock for nearly 20 years before their divorce in 2016. The former couple share two daughters.

Since then, Rock has been linked to several high-profile figures, including actress Lake Bell, but had often spoken publicly about the challenges of dating after divorce. In a 2022 interview, he jokingly described himself as “a lonely man,” while expressing uncertainty about remarrying.

His relationship with Henault appears to represent a fresh and happier chapter.

Wimbledon Appearance Fuels Public Interest

The couple’s appearance at Wimbledon has generated significant buzz across entertainment media, with fans praising their chemistry and Henault’s accomplished professional background.

While neither Rock nor Henault has publicly commented in detail about their relationship, their recent public outings including their Wimbledon appearance and earlier New York strolls suggest they are increasingly comfortable sharing their relationship with the public.

For Henault, the growing attention has introduced a wider audience to a career built not on celebrity, but on years of work in creative production, music, technology and cultural strategy an impressive résumé that stands well beyond her relationship with one of comedy’s biggest names.
