Some of Africa’s biggest music stars, including Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tyla and Asake, have been announced as headliners for the 2026 Afro Nation Music Festival, scheduled to hold from July 3 to July 5, 2026, in The Algarve, Portugal.
The three-day festival will also feature an impressive supporting lineup comprising Olamide, Bien, Young Jonn, Darkoo, Awilo Logomba, Madumane, Focalistic, Daliwonga, Mellow & Sleazy, Zee Nxumalo, with a special guest appearance from American rapper Gunna
Festival organizers revealed the lineup via a post on X, describing the announcement as a defining moment for the summer event.
“Phase 3 is here. Legacy energy meets Afro Nation debuts. This is the sound of a summer taking shape,” the organizers wrote.

According to the schedule, Burna Boy and Tyla will open the festival on July 3, Asake will headline the second day on July 4, while Wizkid will close the event on July 5.
Since its debut in 2019, Afro Nation has evolved into a global celebration of African music and culture, spotlighting genres such as Afrobeats, Amapiano, Hip-Hop and Dancehall. The 2025 edition featured stars including Davido, Tems, Burna Boy and Qing Madi.
Founded by Nigerian entrepreneurs Obi Asika and Smade, Afro Nation remains a vital platform for African artists on the global stage, with the 2026 edition expected to deliver another landmark experience.
