The ballroom of GTA Hotel, Lagos, came alive Friday, 31st October 2025, as business owners, corporate leaders, and entrepreneurs from across the region gathered for the 2025 BNI Lagos Mainland Regional Conference.
From the moment guests arrived, it was clear that this was more than a routine business meeting it was a carefully curated experience designed to inspire growth, connection, and forward thinking.

The formal proceedings opened with a sense of pride and purpose as the National Anthem was rendered, followed by a recitation of BNI’s core values, led by the Master of Ceremonies, Mercy Edukugho- Aminah.

In his Welcome Address, Mr. Nkem Mpamah, Executive Director of BNI Lagos Mainland, warmly received attendees and emphasized the importance of the conference in strengthening the region’s business ecosystem.
His remarks were complemented by acknowledgements from Sylvia Nwachukwu, who highlighted the collective effort behind the conference and the growing impact of BNI within the Lagos Mainland business community.
The learning journey began with a Special Guest Address by Dr. Adebola Akindele, whose thoughtful insights on enterprise growth challenged participants to think beyond immediate gains and focus on long-term value creation.
His message set the tone for a day rich in practical knowledge and strategic reflection.
Building on this foundation, Mr. Nkem Mpamah returned to the stage to deliver the keynote address, “Elevate and Expand.” He spoke passionately about the power of trust-based networking, intentional relationship-building, and strategic engagement as tools for amplifying influence and achieving measurable business results.
His address reinforced BNI’s enduring commitment to leadership development and structured support systems for entrepreneurs.
Participants were also taken through an engaging presentation on “The BNI System,” which demystified the organization’s structured model and demonstrated how it continues to help members gain visibility, secure quality referrals, and build dependable business networks.

Following goodwill messages and an honorarium presentation by Charles C. Onyibe, President of BNI Platinum Nigeria, attendees enjoyed a well-curated lunch that seamlessly blended relaxation with informal networking.
The afternoon session shone a spotlight on strategic partnerships, with a sponsor presentation by the Managing Director of Dega Multi Concept, who underscored the role of collaboration in driving business expansion and innovation.
Recognition and awards formed an emotional and celebratory segment of the conference, as the BNI Regional Leadership honoured outstanding members, chapters, and stakeholders whose dedication and performance have significantly contributed to the growth of BNI Lagos Mainland.

The conference drew to a close with heartfelt Closing Remarks and a Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Mabel Ejim, Executive Director of BNI Lagos Mainland. She reminded participants of their shared responsibility to carry the values of BNI beyond the conference hall and into their businesses and communities.
